Spring Plant Sale

The annual Spring Plant Sale is held on the third Saturday in May from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the grounds of the Oshkosh Public Museum1331 Algoma Blvd., Oshkosh.  Members take to their gardens to contribute hundreds of healthy perennial plants for the sale.  Customers look forward to purchasing our members’ plants at a good price, knowing that these garden-tested plants will thrive in the Wisconsin climate.

We also craft concrete hypertufa planters for the
sale.  Members assemble in late March or early April
to make these planters.  The hypertufa mix consists
of cement, sand, and peat moss designed to mimic the
rustic look of stone troughs.  Hardy sedums and hens
and chicks are ideal long-term subjects for these
planters. Troughs are priced from $12 to $25 dollars,
including the plants.

Proceeds from our plant sale support our community gardening projects like this flower bed at the Oshkosh Public Library.
